How to understand 50% enhancement of reflection?

An object reflected in the GLASS of your car, say a roadside mailbox, would reflect in high definition, with crisp lines and sharp detail (aside from any shape alterations). Glass surface texture is nearly perfect, like a mirror. When you look at the same mailbox in the paint of your new car, it looks fuzzy and distorted. Why? Because as paint is applied and while it dries, a texture is left ALWAYS behind. The degree of texture is directly related to the paint process used.

This "LIKE GLASS" finish is what you see on cars at car shows and in exotic car showrooms! These cars have had their paint polished to a glass like finish.

NONE of these cars are "out of the gun paint jobs". What makes a great crisp paint job, is cutting and polishing out the texture. But doing it right is easier said than done! It takes years to master.

The degree of paint enhancement will be determined by the original finish.

Boats and RV's:

Often these finishes suffer the worst damage due to severe element exposure. Problems like sun burns and color stripe or overspray require more attention and affect the price. Conditions vary greatly from one to the other, therefore a full evaluation is done prior to quoting.

These finishes, are cleaned using 3 separate wet stages. Once clean and decontaminated, up to 6 stages of polishing and SUPER ACRY SHEILD sealing are performed on all exposed gel coated fiberglass areas, hull, superstructure, cockpit, shower stalls and/or wet rooms. A slight staining of the coating may occur during the wet wash process on some severely stained boats that have had a fresh anti fouling applied. This however has no ill effect to the integrity of the surface.

NOTE:

- We do not clean canvas tops, canvas top windows, or boat covers.

- We do not offer interior house cleaning other than wet room stall or shower gel coat polishing and protection.

- We understand that there is a great demand for these services, however we prefer to fiche on what we do best, which is polishing.

I suggest a yearly visit, one treatment process will last up to 5 years. I have been doing this treatment for 20 years+ and some cars have lasted decades with little care and still look great! Includes micro polishing (even new cars have minor dealer damage).
